Pendo is looking for an Associate Sales Systems Engineer to join the Sales Operations team supporting our Sales team leveraging your experience and deep knowledge of systems to design both standard and creative solutions and lead projects.  The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker and problem solver, have excellent communication skills and technical curiosity, and thrive in a fast paced environment. They also have a strong desire for automation and continuous improvement, and are enthusiastic about the opportunity to partner with sales leadership to build systems and processes that will support a high growth company.

Team Overview

Our team captures end-to-end business processes and identifies pain points within our sales systems. We work to map current practices, tools, and effectiveness, to identify and improve efficiency. Our team works to improve the tools our Revenue organization utilizes from lead generation all the way to reporting on closed deals, ultimately, resulting in the strength of our team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • End-User Support and Training: Resolve end-user issues and provide training.
  • Solution Development: Gather requirements, prioritize and develop new solutions to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • System Enhancements: Participate in the testing and deployment of day to day configuration changes in Salesforce and other tools
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation and a knowledge base.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow instructions, pre-established guidelines, policies, and procedures for day-to-day tasks.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues to understand process and technical inefficiencies, identify root causes, drive and implement best practice solutions
  • Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and subject matter experts to document processes and technical requirements.

Minimum Qualifications  

  • 1+ years experience in a business analyst or equivalent role working with a CRM system
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, open office, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
  • Self-starter who seeks challenging assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce as an end user or administrator.
  • Experience working in an Agile team is a plus
  • Prior system administration experience.
  • Salesforce.com certifications are a plus.

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected base salary range for this role in the following location is:

Raleigh, NC:  $75,000 - $85,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
