We are currently seeking to add a Construction Project Manager to our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon.
$110,000 to 130,000 annually with benefits.
This role will develop strategies to grow our market share of ODOT and Portland Metro construction management work, oversee our current construction management team, and coordinate with our Vancouver staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years in construction management/inspection
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Ability to legally work in all PBS locations
• Valid driver’s license
Desirable Qualifications
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Construction Management experience at local agencies.
• ODOT Inspection Certifications
• Experience designing transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with federal funding requirements.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as main point of contact for clients and contractors during construction
• Assume responsibility for overseeing and documenting construction quality
• Lead teams on transportation, water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects
• Provide quality control and constructability reviews for design projects
• Monitor and process submittals
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Record data and review entries made by others
• Prepare interim, and permanent final records
• Identify and manage construction risks
• Negotiate and prepare change orders
• Ensure materials are properly tested and approved
• Train and lead others
