We are currently seeking to add a Civil Engineer to our dynamic team in Vancouver, Washington.
In this role, our Civil Engineers perform civil engineering design work in a team environment working with other engineers, project managers, and PBS staff in the other company business lines.
$34 to $37 hourly, full time, with benefits, and flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Willingness to work in fast paced environment across multiple disciplines and project types
- Flexibility and creativity in project approaches, and openness to learn and develop
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable qualifications
- Experience working in a consulting firm or Municipal Engineering departments
- 0-3 years’ experience in the engineering field
- Proficient skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Familiarity with local development codes and standards
- Knowledge of stormwater analysis software
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform civil engineering design tasks associated with municipal public works projects, private development projects
- Self-manage project tasks, and maintain active communication with project managers
- Effectively manage multiple assignments, and prioritize with input from project managers
- Duties may periodically include performing a variety of skilled professional tasks, manually or by use of computer-assisted drafting/design equipment.
