We are currently seeking to add a Professional Land Surveyor to our dynamic team in Walla Walla, Washington.
$85,000 to $150,000 annually full-time with benefits.
This role will assist with the oversight and management of the Walla Walla Survey Department and projects. Including but not limited to project scheduling, budgets, proposals, and business development. This position comes with the intent to evolve into the Walla Walla Survey Department Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Washington state registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
3 years’ experience overseeing and performing land surveys as a registered PLS
Experience in office production including boundary, topographic and construction surveying
Experience in business development
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carlson Survey
Aspiration for growth opportunities including taking on management responsibilities
Ability to legally work in all PBS locations
Valid driver’s license
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the Walla Walla Survey Department and projects
Oversee and perform land survey and mapping functions
Supervise Survey Technicians and survey parties
Plan and coordinate work of field staff
Review and certify completed work to satisfy legal requirements
Work with PBS Clients to identify project needs and prepare scope and fee proposals
Secure additional survey projects
