As a Principal Medical Writer you will take on full responsibility for your own work and consistently demonstrate breadth and quality of writing across a broad range of medical and commercially focused materials.

You will liaise with international pharmaceutical clients and lead discussions in client meetings. You will assist with editing of materials written by other team members and provide constructive feedback.  You will take on line management responsibilities and provide ongoing support to other writers while contributing to training as required.

In addition, you will provide strategic input into the business by contributing ideas to grow the business or improve efficiencies. In collaboration with client services, you will take responsibility for the development of account plans for assigned accounts to help maximise opportunities for account development.

To succeed, you must have a BSc in the life sciences, ideally combined with a MSc or PhD and therapeutic experience ideally within immunology or oncology. In addition, you will have considerable relevant medical writing experience within a medical communications or related environment, coupled with prior line management and extensive reviewing experience.
