*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

The Studio Team ensure that a vision is created and enacted on time and within budget. 

The Associate Studio Director leads this team and the delivery of creative work, globally, that hooks our audience and meets objectives. Managing the people, process and technology that make it happen, and always making sure the member is at the heart of everything we produce.

Complementary to senior-level experience, excellent communication skills are needed to build relationships with internal and external teams, provide solutions and give clarity.

Day to day responsibilities 

  • Independently lead top-tier projects (including creating and managing critical paths), with the support of the Manager/Exec to deliver
  • Oversee the delivery of all projects within the studio
  • Create and maintain a consistent and efficient way of working within the team
  • Own all processes and tools (Workfront, ZIP, Webflow etc) and work with the Creative Services Director to ensure they align with the wider businesses’ ways of working
  • Work closely with the Associate Art Director and Associate Copy Director to ensure we evolve our creative output, inline with trends our ever-changing audience
  • Drive connection between our team and other teams, to solve department and business challenges and Ideate to identify opportunities 
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with Head of Brand, Head of Campaign Delivery, Partner Marketing, Product and other senior roles across the business
  • Manage relationships with agencies and external suppliers
  • Connect the right people together at the right time to meet project objectives and deadlines
  • Lead and set the team up for success in key meetings (kickoffs, Ideations, presentations) to ensure the right challenges are made, everyone is heard, and the next steps are clear
  • Drive the forward-planning of all work coming through the team, including Marketing and Commercial calendars, to Identify where creative roles can be involved to better the output. Also allowing accurate forecasting of freelance support.
  • Provide input into project plans, considering the potential impact of activities upon other areas of the business.

  • Delivered high-quality creative executions on time and on brief

  • Managed a team of project management roles
  • Managed department budget forecasting (inc freelance)
  • Managed large-scale, multi-channel and mulit-region campaigns. Including dissecting a brief, creating the project plan, assigning resources and managing end-to-end
  • Built and maintained trusting relationships internally and externally, at a senior management level
