LearnUpon is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Dublin on a full-time basis for a 6-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

What will I be doing?

As a Technical Recruiter reporting to the Head of People, you’ll be the main point of contact for all our Engineering and Product hiring. You’ll have a natural ability to put people at ease during the recruitment process while assessing their suitability for the role and our company. You’ll continuously network and build relationships with potential candidates to enhance our talent pool, and you’ll approach every situation with a “can do” attitude. In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the full recruitment process for all our Engineering and Product roles including sourcing, screening, scheduling
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
  • Providing guidance to hiring managers on realistic technical requirements
  • Educating hiring managers and interview panels on our hiring process and recruitment best practices
  • Providing feedback for all candidates
  • Tracking, analyzing and regularly reporting on hiring progress
  • Designing creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting strategy
  • Lead projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruiting processes
  • Working closely with our People Operations team to deliver a standout candidate experience, all the way through to onboarding
  • Representing LearnUpon at external events such as job fairs or conferences
  • Supporting our employer branding efforts
  • Organising events to source and attract candidates
  • Assisting on non-technical roles as required

What skills do I need?                                                                      

  • At least 3 years’ experience hiring for a range of technical roles at all levels
  • An ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles
  • Experience with various interview formats (in-person, phone, Zoom)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Greenhouse)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

Not required but considered a big plus

  • Recruitment experience in a tech / SaaS scale-up environment
  • Experience working in the LMS/ Learning Tech industry
