Karbon is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us move into the next phase of growth! This person will be responsible for ensuring that every candidate has a top-notch interview experience, from the first time they engage with us through offer acceptance and onboarding, and will be responsible for hitting and exceeding various metrics around growth, time-to-fill, and more.

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring that candidates have a positive and memorable interview experience with Karbon. You will have a keen interest in learning all things related to recruitment and will share talent market updates, interview tips, and best practices with our hiring managers.

Job Description

Strategic Sourcing:

  • Build a pipeline of candidates for future vacant role requirements.
  • Manage candidates through our pretty neat applicant tracking system (ATS) called Greenhouse.
  • Use templates and create some of your own for new role postings.
  • Find talent througout America and Canada through the use of LinkedIn and other candidate prospecting tools.
  • Communicate with our candidates through our ATS to ensure they have the best candidate experience possible!
  • Assist where necessary on recruitment campaigns around the globe.

Future-proofing Recruitment:

  • Assist in designing a full suite of interview guides for hiring leaders
  • Support hiring leaders in hiring decisions and interviewing by training them rather than doing it for them
  • Be a helpful source of best practice recruitment processes 

Experience

  • Some recruitment or talent acquisition experience
  • Experience using an ATS like Greenhouse or similar
  • High levels of initiative, self-motivation and time management.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High performance mindset
