We are looking for an experienced Internal IT Specialist to join our IT team. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of systems, networks, and servers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of IT operations and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), network devices, and software applications.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest level of availability.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, collaborating with external vendors as necessary to resolve complex problems.
- Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to workstations, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and VPN setups.
- Maintain inventory and manage hardware and software licenses for workstations.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all processes and configurations.
- Plan for future capacity and scalability needs of IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks and streamline processes. Experience in software development will be considered a PLUS.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Advanced level of English
