What's the opportunity? 🤔

The Recruiting team is expanding and evolving quickly here at Intercom! This is your chance to help build out the recruiting function to enable global scale and long-term success. You will report into the Director, Recruiting and manage a group of recruiters while driving initiatives in support of our vision, spearheading projects, and providing tactical and strategic guidance to key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring Intercom hires the best possible candidates and continues to develop a world class Recruiting team.

What will I be doing? 🚀

  • In partnership with the Director of Recruiting, develop and execute strategic approach to achieve company goals in staffing
  • Evaluate and provide insights on recruitment standards and best practices
  • Facilitate and lead key initiatives and projects with the recruiting team and client groups
  • Enable the recruiting team by managing, mentoring, coaching, and developing their performance
  • Implement efficient, scalable recruiting business processes which support Intercom’s rapid growth
  • Develop and manage recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics. Establish and track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers, interviewers, and referrers
  • Partner with the People team to provide guidance, identify efficiencies and build strong programs related to compensation, operations, on-boarding, and the long-term success of candidates once they join Intercom
  • Drive immediate and future success of attracting top recruiting talent

What skills do I need? 📖

  • Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience with a growing organization, hiring technical talent
  • Proven leadership experience directly managing recruiting teams in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional data analysis and analytical skills
  • Creativity in problem-solving, resourcefulness, ability to be detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and team members  
  • Growth mindset, seeks feedback, and looks to continuously improve
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and executive teams on hiring initiatives, ideally with technical roles
  • Process savvy, structured and holistic in approach
  • Passionate about Intercom and knowledge of the product and business
