What's the opportunity? 🤔

As an Integrated Marketing Manager at Intercom, you’ll be a key member in driving integrated marketing campaigns for strategic audiences – including designing campaign strategy, planning, and execution to deliver against top-level business goals. This role will combine strategy with hands-on campaign orchestration, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable owning every stage of the campaign process. You’ll work across the marketing department, with teams ranging from demand generation, content marketing, brand studio, and product marketing to define each campaign’s scope, and drive them to completion. You’ll report on campaign performance and provide insights to help guide the direction of future campaigns and campaign strategy.

 

What will I be doing? 🚀

  • Translate our company narratives into complex, multi-channel integrated campaigns — design the strategy and activation choreography that delivers on KPIs to align with our top-level business goals. 
  • Drive Intercom’s global solution awareness campaigns from start to finish, in order to increase solution awareness within Intercom’s key audience segments. 
  • Own the development of strategic and creative campaign concepts by partnering with the brand team and creative agencies, while ensuring buy-in across relevant teams. 
  • Lead channel owners across marketing to create a comprehensive activation strategy mapped to campaign goals.
  • Develop global campaign playbooks to equip regional marketing teams.
  • Manage multiple complex campaigns (targeting different audiences or initiatives) at the same time. Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders and on-time execution. 
  • Partner with measurement leads to design measurement frameworks and report back on campaign performance. Communicate results to all stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements based on performance. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across marketing, sales, brand design, program management and R&D.  

 

What skills do I need? 📖

  • 4-5 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Proven ability to work across broad cross-functional teams to drive complex projects to successful completion.
  • Ability to manage creative, complex and multi-channel campaigns (including advertising, comms, content, email, social, events, web, sales enablement, and product education) in partnership with production teams.
  • Understanding of core marketing principles for brand and campaign positioning, audience identification and targeting, and multi-channel strategy.
  • Well-versed in the various marketing channels with a basic understanding of channel function and formats. Demonstrate an understanding of marketing and sales funnels and how different tactics and channels drive impact across the entirety of a prospect and customer journey.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills. Ability to present projects clearly and collect and act on feedback from a broad group of stakeholders. 
  • Experience with analyzing and drawing conclusions from a broad set of data. Ability to turn that into actionable recommendations. 
  • Ability to strategically evaluate a plan and its objectives at a high level while still managing the details of execution. Think strategically and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, escalating priorities and working with cross-functional teams to make crucial decisions in the midst of campaign execution. 
  • Interested and curious about the value and discipline of brand marketing, working closely with strategy and creative to bring campaigns to life.
  • Highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects.
