Team Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Staff AMS Verification Engineer to join the Impinj silicon engineering team to work on the next generation of tag and reader chips. We are a fun, hardworking team of top-tier silicon designers that value and celebrate partnership and teamwork!
What you will do:
- Work with the team to verify advance RFID reader IC’s.
- Review design specifications to create pre-silicon test plans
- Architect, implement and automate analog, digital and AMS test benches to verify pre-silicon designs using advanced methodologies and tools.
- Work closely with RF, analog, digital and software developers to verify the implementation that meets post-silicon block-level and system requirements.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of experience plus a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in translating RF transceiver system level requirements into pre-silicon test plan specifications
- Experience in the development and validation of analog, AMS, and digital behavioral models
- Hands-on experience in verifying RF/Analog integrated circuits designs such as LNA, Mixer, RF VGAs, PA, VCO, PLL, Regulators, ADC/DAC, etc., in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
- Thorough understanding of verification methodologies
- Strong knowledge on IC verification CAD tools such as Spectre, Spectre-AMS, Verilog-AMS, and Verilog.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Motivated to carry out tasks with clear communication and presentation skills in a dynamic team environment.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $141,000- $218,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
