Springboard Fellow

Hillels of Westchester

Role Overview

Make your mark on Jewish student life by joining Hillels of Westchester (HOW) as the Springboard Fellow. You will build one on one relationships with students, plan and execute engaging events and programs around campus, and help inspire students to make a commitment to Jewish life . HOW is a dynamic, multi-campus Hillel serving six (6) public, private, residential and commuter campuses, a short train ride from the heart of NYC.  Every year, we engage hundreds of students through more than 150 events and programs.  We pride ourselves on creativity in engagement so make your mark as HOW’s next Springboard Fellow.

As the HOW Springboard Fellow, you will enter a laboratory to bring your ideas to life in one of the largest and most vibrant Jewish communities in the world - Westchester, NY.  Working directly with students and with the support of your Hillel team, you will help advance our goals to enrich the lives of every Jewish student and ensure that our students leave campus with the skills to deeply engage with Jewish life post-college.  Whether facilitating Shabbat and holiday celebrations, fostering Jewish learning, bettering the community and the world through tikkun olam, engaging with Israel or just making new friends, you will join our team as a travel agent for others’ (and your!) Jewish journeys.

You'll wake up each day (or at least most) and be genuinely excited and enthusiastic about creating an inviting place that inspires students to explore, experience, and create vibrant Jewish lives. This is so much more than your average 9-to-5.
