The role

We’re looking for a highly-motivated and proactive QA Analyst to support our Risk Operations teams combat financial crime. Today, Risk Operations consists of the following areas:

  • Fraud Investigations 
  • AML Transaction Monitoring 
  • High Risk (KYC) Onboarding 

Your mission is to enable high performance capabilities across the group, ensuring our teams effectively assess financial crime risk and are efficient in how we work.

* Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm, and willingness to work on some public holidays. 

What excites you 

  • Being the point of escalation for our first-line risk teams and conducting live quality checks on complex, high-risk investigations.
  • Regularly test & analyse team performance and produce actionable insights.
  • Partner with the Risk Operations management team to ensure KPIs are in line with business requirements and manage performance reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and provide Subject Matter Expertise support on key initiatives. 
  • Provide training, technical support and mentoring to less experienced members of the team.

What excites us  

  • You are passionate about fighting financial crime and comfortably able to assess risk, spotting suspicious activity and/or fraud from a mile off
  • You use clear logic and reasoning to separate legitimate behaviour from suspected illicit activity
  • You know how to balance risk, customer experience and operational efficiency
  • You have a strong technical understanding of financial crime, and an excellent ability to break complex problems down and communicate them to stakeholders
  • You are solution-oriented and don’t shy away from challenging the status quo by bringing viable, alternative solutions to the table
  • You bring the hustle and are thoroughly able to  prioritise, organise and execute
