The role

Our mission as the Open Banking Features team in GoCardless is to develop and maintain our Connectivity with banks across UK and European markets. We power Account Information and Payment Initiation services across more than 2500 banks.

You'll collaborate closely with product and other teams to innovate, maintain, and optimise our product, marking a key role in operational efficiency for our merchants and internal users while ensuring smooth operation for the world's aspiring bank payments network.

As a senior engineer, you will actively shape the future of the team, aiming to build a robust, high-quality product. You'll be involved in planning and executing the technical vision, which includes working on some of these key initiatives.

Our technologies

We endeavour to build simple, reliable, and secure tooling and believe in using the most suitable technologies for each task. Joining the Connectivity group, you’ll be working in a team that interacts with a diverse stack of technologies and services including Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud (GCP), Kibana, Prometheus.

Across GoCardless, we use a broad range of additional technologies such as Ruby, React, Kubernetes and Elasticsearch.

Salary range - the expected base salary range for this position is between €5,333 - €8,000 (gross).

Base salary ranges may vary and are determined by things like geography, level of experience, interview assessment and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, there is no guarantee that an offer will reach the upper limit of the stated range.
