About the Position: Website Optimization - SEO & CRO - Marketing Manager

The Website SEO & CRO Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving organic traffic and leads by increasing G-P’s search visibility and optimizing our web properties.   The position will require collaboration with marketing, martech and product teams as well as external partner resources.

You are responsible for managing all SEO and CRO activities, including keyword strategy, link building, technical optimization, and landing page tests, to increase traffic, high-quality leads for our sales teams and ultimately revenue from organic search.

This is a key leadership role with the objective of developing industry-leading experience combining web strategic thinking, technical knowledge, CRO, SEO, analytics, and extensive execution experience to deliver a world-class web experience that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers and the organization. 

This position requires a self-motivated individual who wants to make an impact and possesses the ability to get measurable results in a short amount of time. You must be thoughtful about the customer journey and understand the value that our products and services bring. You have spent some time generating leads for a business-to-business marketing team either as a consultant, at an agency or on the internal team.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Partner with the Demand Generation teams to develop and implement the overall lead generation strategies. 
  • Responsible for understanding, managing and optimizing action/results driven customer journeys on g-p.com.
  • Drives lead growth by designing effective customer journey’s and generating high quality leads for the sales team.
  • Designs and implements data driven experimentation/test frameworks to optimize across the funnel from awareness to conversion.
  • Partner with Demand Generation teams to create compelling landing pages with user experiences that capture marketing qualified leads (MQLs), prospect opt-in’s and product sales.
  • Own keyword research, keeping a constant pulse on opportunities to engage our audience. Work with the content teams to ensure that all website content is optimized for SEO and conversion, including landing pages, blog posts, and product descriptions.
  • Participate in planning and testing of changes to site information architecture.
  • Partner with MarTech web team to ensure optimal page performance, ongoing CMS enhancements, integration with marketing automation and CRM systems, and compliance with security requirements.
  • Brings a collaborative and high-performance approach to culture within the team and across all functional areas.
  • Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies. including, CRO and A/B testing, SEO, internal search, site analytics and the impact of AI on these areas.  
  • You will be a self-starter who also has the ability to lead a team and get colleagues excited about investing in SEO and leading CRO to drive growth for the company.
  • Fosters the team's growth, including mentorship of direct reports to facilitate professional growth.

Your Expertise:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Online Commerce, Business, or related fields of study.
  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience and specifically SEO and CRO experience at a tech, b2b or SaaS based company.
  • Expert knowledge of SEO practices and proven SEO experience is essential. Strong understanding of digital technologies and best practices.
  • You lead with a customer-centric approach, take an analytic approach to problem-solving and have a strong understanding of what data drives impact.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform requirements, ideas, and strategies with hands-on experience with web tools including CMS (WordPress), A/B testing tools (VWO), site analytics (Google Analytics) and business intelligence tools.
  • Adept at leading hypothesis-driven A/B tests, experiment design, and running experiments at scale.
  • Well-versed in the technical aspects of running a website, UX, SEO, domain management, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously from strategy to execution.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive within the fast pace of a growth organization.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience, education and geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.
