Giant Spoon is looking for a Senior Media Strategist who demonstrates strategic and creative planning skills through data and cultural driven insights for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Develop strategic media plans and buy across traditional non-traditional channels including TV, OOH, Digital Display, Video, Mobile, and Performance Platforms (Paid Social & Programmatic)
- Develop recommendations to align audiences with programming - from TV shows to magazines to social media pages to influencers
- Manage brand financials and budget management
- Contact for brand partners with regular pulse on and familiarity with key stakeholder capabilities, new developments and opportunities
- Manage day-to-day communication and presentation with key partners: publishers, partner agencies, clients, strategic partners, etc.
- Comfortable managing the day-to-day of junior team members, including delegating tasks and coaching on execution
- Report on media performance and making strategic recommendations, analyzing delivery metrics for optimizations
- Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications in paid media environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge
- Facilitate team brainstorms and provide news stories for weekly intelligence wrap-ups
- Create post launch presentations including screenshots, links and placement information to demonstrate proof of execution for clients
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in integrated media planning in a creative or media agency
- Experience with media planning and buying tools
- Some experience with planning across social media channels. Organic/Owned social strategy a plus, but not required.
- Experience with digital trafficking
- Professional writing skills, ability to construct a well-written email
- Experience with CRM and data-led media initiatives
- Inherent desire to learn more of the trends shaping consumer behavior
- Strong organization and project management skills, effectively hitting deadlines and finding ways to streamline process
- Digitally connected, passionate about technology and innovation with an insatiable curiosity for how it applies to our industry
- Experience working on content creation, and new media platforms preferred
- Experience with budget, billing and invoicing preferred
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
