As a Senior Strategist, you will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for the brand and acting as a thought partner to clients across entertainment, retail and other categories. We are seeking individuals with a creative and entrepreneurial drive and excitement to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about entertainment and culture. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day strategic client needs across multiple projects, including new business.
  • Craft the strategic brand approach for clients based on a deep understanding of their larger business goals, category dynamics, audience behaviors, and technology/platform advancements
  • Synthesize and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to form actionable insights and turn them into creative campaign ideas with measurable success. Includes pilot and concept testing, Nielsen ratings analysis, consumer viewership behaviors, competitive research, social listening and more.
  • Organize and translate findings from multiple secondary sources into a clear, concise and compelling presentation of insights and creative thought starters that solve business problems and inspire creative brand and experiential campaigns.
  • Craft strong, concise creative briefs and strategic narratives that identify opportunities for audience and culture-led ideas.
  • Play an active role in the implementation and execution of strategy.
  • Facilitate the development of creative ideas designed to solve a specific business problem.
  • Collaborate with team members and effectively partner cross-departmentally with media, creative, experiential, and account during various phases of a project.
  • Stay up to date on the latest cultural and audience trends, industry news, and emerging tech and know how it applies to our industry and the client’s business.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in brand strategy at a creative advertising agency or a comparable environment
  • Experience working on creative campaigns and brand strategy projects, including writing creative briefs, and managing creative development through launch
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise of creating a range of brand building and campaign elements, including a brand purpose, brand positioning and campaign messaging.
  • Experience and interest in both quantitative and qualitative research, demonstrating a high level of fluency with audience data and research tools (e.g., Simmons, GWI)
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written, visual and verbal), interpreting information to uncover and communicate actionable insights that create value for our creative teams and our clients
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack and Microsoft Office
  • Exposure to/participation in activations at industry and cultural events such as CES, SXSW, Cannes, etc. a plus
  • Experience working on both experiential and fully-integrated campaigns a plus

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000. Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
