We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Network Operations Manager to join our growing team at FuturHealth. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the operational efficiency of our medical vendor network, ensuring strong relationships with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration in a healthcare or related industry.
This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment with occasional travel to vendor locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management:
    • Oversee and manage relationships with key medical network vendors 
      to ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with contracts, and
      alignment with business objectives.
    • Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and terms with vendors, 
      ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations.
    • Monitor vendor performance through metrics and KPIs, and 
      implement corrective actions when needed to maintain high
      standards.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams in executing projects that involve network operations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed of progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the vendor management and network operations areas.
    • Implement improvements to increase the efficiency, reliability, and quality of network operations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate best practices and streamline workflows.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal departments such as finance, compliance, legal, and clinical teams to ensure alignment and address operational needs.
    • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to facilitate communication and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Provide regular updates to leadership on vendor performance, project progress, and operational metrics.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Communication & Negotiation:
    • Maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure clarity around expectations, deliverables, and deadlines.
    • Negotiate terms, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all parties are satisfied with outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in project management, with a strong focus on vendor management and cross-functional team coordination.
  • 3+ years experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel occasionally to vendor locations as needed (less than 10%).

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience successfully managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving operational improvements.
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical network management industry is a plus
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
