Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Events Marketing Lead to join our team and lead our in-person and virtual events strategy. This person will be responsible to plan, execute, and manage various types of events including trade shows, prospecting events, conferences, and networking webinars to drive engagement and generate leads.
What You’ll Do:
- Event Strategy & Budget:
- Create and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, sales objectives and budget requirements.
- Manage the event marketing budget to stay within plan, ensure cost-effective use of resources, and maximizing ROI.
- Event Management and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of trade shows, prospecting events, conferences, and networking webinars.
- Develop the event strategy for each event including success targets, engagement and lead capture activities, thought leadership initiatives, and onsite and pre & post show promotions.
- Ensure seamless execution of all aspects of agreed upon events from event strategy to engagement activities to brand visuals to post-event follow-up.
- Content Creation:
- Develop and build engaging event content including presentations, promotional materials, and follow-up communications that positively represent our brand and strengthen our market leadership.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze event performance metrics/results against planned targets and objectives, providing recommendations for future events.
- Deliver ROI summary reports, insights and recommendations for each event and the full year strategy to inform strategy and budget adjustments.
- Provide ongoing reporting and updates to key stakeholders on programs, activities, and results.
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure high-quality event execution.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with GTM, Product & Global Services teams to ensure events support overall business goals and sales objectives, and drive lead generation.
- Work closely with our external Premier Delivery and strategic partners to showcase our shared innovations and market leadership.
- Organize and lead planning and/or pre-show prep meetings with key stakeholders and our event attendees.
- Collaborate and coordinate with members of the Marketing team to promote events on social media, email, web, etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, sponsors, and vendors.
- Innovation and Creativity:
- Continuously seek new and innovative ways to enhance event experiences and engage the target audience.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, with a proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
- Proficiency in event management software, virtual event platforms, data analysis tools, and digital marketing techniques.
- Extensive experience in creating impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for creating unique and impactful event experiences.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges during events.
- Willingness to travel to support domestic and/or global events.
