Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Global Shared Services Manager, Reporting to lead our Reporting Shared Services Delivery team responsible for delivering solutions to meet our client’s needs. This role will be responsible for leading a team that provides clients with valuable data insights through effective backend data setup and front-end visualization. This role will oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive reporting solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data analytics, database management, and reporting tools, alongside proven leadership and client-facing skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Mentor a team of data analysts, reporting specialists, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Partner with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized reporting solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end reporting processes, from backend data setup (ETL, data modeling) to front-end visualizations (Power BI, Tableau).
- Implement robust data frameworks that support advanced analytics, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Deliver high-quality visualizations and dashboards, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations) to deliver timely, high-quality software solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement, adopting new tools and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Monitor team performance, implementing metrics for efficiency and quality.
- Present client insights and reporting outcomes, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
- Support departmental goals by participating in client-facing and internal projects.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, with proven leadership in a client-facing role.
- Strong technical skills in database management, ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of law firm operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
- Proven track record of delivering software projects on time and within scope, using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Problem-solving mindset, able to think strategically and act tactically.
- Desirable: Experience with Elite products and strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and backend data tools.
