Position Overview: 

Daily Harvest seeks a software engineer, fluent in Python, to help build the future of frozen food delivery. As a member of our software engineering team, you’ll craft and ship the code that powers our entire business -- from user-facing UI, to code that interfaces with our shipping providers, to inventory and operations management at scale. You’ll be working with a small team of friendly, easy-going engineers based in NYC and Princeton, NJ.


  • Design, develop, and test the Daily Harvest core software stack
  • Work closely with team members to launch new features and systems
  • Deliver back-end improvements that optimize the DH experience


  • BS in computer science or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in software development roles
  • Experience with Python-powered web-apps (Flask, Google Cloud, Google App Engine, Stripe)
  • MySQL, Google Cloud SQL, PeeWee ORM
  • Experience with Git and deployments to Google Cloud

  • Has created and shipped several apps or products
  • iOS / Android native programming experience
  • Experience with front-end technologies (javascript, JQuery, Angular.js, HTML/CSS)
