Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Product Manager to help define and execute the product strategy for the Digital team at Daily Harvest. The Product Manager will play a critical role in helping us grow and scale our digital platform across direct-to-consumer and retail channels. You’ll work cross-functionally and partner closely with a talented internal development team and with external partners. You are data-obsessed and interested in new ways to leverage technology to drive process/workflow improvements.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive product development, from ideation through technical development and launch of products within our digital platform
  • Leverage data-backed product vision and strategy to define product roadmap(s) that include tradeoffs/costs and take into account third-party partner roadmaps (e.g. Shopify) 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, define requirements/business processes to improve process/workflows, prioritize initiatives, and manage feature rollouts (QA/hypercare/change management)
  • Guide and support a team of engineers to help ensure they are focussing on the right set of activities and future-proofing features, as applicable   
  • Identify and recommend success metrics and/or key results related to your business objective that enable meaningful ways to measure progress
  • Understand reliability and performance, and proactively find and address issues to manage data at scale 
  • Manage complex rollouts, including coordinating QA, and working closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Marketing)
  • Communicate user problems, business opportunities, team roadmaps, on-going updates, and project/OKR results clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences (e.g., executive stakeholders, product team, people with and without technical expertise)

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on platform/services and back-end development 
  • Fluent in product methodologies, defining requirements and measurement plans, system workflow documentation, gaining cross-functional alignment, creating product roadmaps, and launching products
  • Comfortable and proficient in the documentation and takes a documentation-first approach to ensure successful launches of initiatives 
  • Strong product intuition based on experience but reinforce this through a deep understanding of user feedback and analytical data
  • Data fluency and working experience with related tools, e.g. SQL, Looker, Tableau, Excel, etc. 
  • Thrive in ambiguity and excited about owning multiple different elements of the product/technology stack
  • Ownership - if something goes wrong, you take the initiative by fixing it
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive clarity for stakeholders and executives
  • Experience working within Shopify and/or NetSuite or similar SaaS platform is preferred

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
