The IT/IS Data Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining business reports that enable the Curaleaf team to analyze data to support our overall performance and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role is a deadline-driven person with strong communication skills who enjoys collaborating with others and working in a fast-paced, team environment. This person must also be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The Financial Business Analyst is a key member of Curaleaf's corporate team and is a significant contributor to the IT/IS function.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently as well collaboratively in:
    • The collection of product and project-based requirements
    • The analysis of requirements and design of strategic solutions
  • Evaluate business process and develop solutions based on anticipated areas of risk or improvement
  • Review and Harness collected business information to inform plans associated with projects
  • Review and formalize technical requirements to inform development of systems and in-house IT products
  • Proactively work with stakeholders and end users at all levels of the organization to effectively convey issues, risks, and product requirements
  • Assist IS team in documenting and validating functionality of upcoming releases
  • Assist IS team in demonstrating functionality and presenting project plans, effort and impacts
  • Track and effectively coordinate inter-departmental projects of varying sizes to effectively plan, monitor effort and present benefits to functional areas or organization
  • Assist IS/IT teams in training, UAT and implementation as well as documenting results
  • Document and maintain user and stakeholder feedback through lens of overarching projects(s)
  • Assist IT/IS team members and the organization with system and process expertise as needed
  • Traveling to facilities and working remotely to perform comprehensive project requirement gathering monitoring and review of ongoing efforts


Required Skills and Credentials:

  • Bachelors degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
  • Prior experience and/or focus on Retail Operations, Digital Marketing and/or E-Commerce projects
  • 1-3 years occupational experience in ERP/IT/IS field in analyst or high-level service desk support role
  • Strong communicator – in one on one communications, within small and large groups
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively support teams
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Posses an in-depth understanding of Information Systems and Business Processes
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience in acquiring technical requirements from company documentation, stakeholders, internal resources
  • Experience communicating requirements from stakeholders to dev team to do with system functionality
  • Excellent organizational skills - time management, multi-tasking, and attention to details
  • Flexible Time Requirements – As we are active within multiple time zones, work time requirements may shift per the needs of the organization and travel may be required
  • Work experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus
  • Work experience in the Cannabis industry is a plus
  • Experience working within Agile framework is a plus
  • Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
