Job Summary

The APAC Digital Analyst is responsible for the quality and completeness of eCommerce and eTail related analysis and reports and to find business opportunities. This position will create business reports, analyze data, forecast and conduct data modeling. She/he will also advise stakeholders on how to accelerate the business growth across APAC especially in Japan and South Korea. This role reports directly to the Senior Digital Director, North Asia in Tokyo, Japan. This role will dotted line report to the Director of Digital Analytics & Optimization located in the USA to ensure a strong relationship with functional experts in global headquarters.


Primary Job Duties

  • Assess and recommend business opportunities for growing eCommerce sales and profitability in Japan, South Korea, Australia and Singapore
  • Validate, enhance, automate and distribute business performance reports (financial, marketing, sales, customer, etc..)
  • Maintain forecasts, budgets and targets for the eCommerce department
  • Work with Global teams to analyze effectiveness of performance marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement
  • Segment and analyze Crocs’ customer database to identify the segments with highest opportunity and measure effectiveness of digital marketing activities with ad hoc and regular reports and analysis
  • Measure effectiveness of Crocs’ onsite experience to make sure the customer journey is optimized
  • Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies to drive analytical effectiveness, operational efficiency, and business growth


Job Requirements

Minimum Education: University bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics, Finance or related

Minimum Experience: 2+ years of proven experience of digital analytics in eCommerce retailers, with hands on experience in web analytics and coding

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Very strong social, analytical, presentation and writing skills
  • Good knowledge/understanding of eCommerce dynamics and user behavior
  • Experience with report development, automation using reporting software and manipulation of large data sets
  • Experience solving business problems with statistical techniques, and arriving to commercial recommendations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (or equivalent), SQL, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Python is a strong plus
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce and Custora platforms is a strong plus
  • Good knowledge/understanding of audience segmentation and onsite behavior is a strong plus
  • Good understanding of digital marketing (PPC, SEO, Affiliate, Social Media)
  • Service minded and flexible. High attention to detail and natural curiosity
  • Proactiveness in suggesting business analysis and opportunities
  • Agility in performing analysis under pressure and with short deadlines
  • Cross-functional working and support experience.
  • Knowledge of online campaigns tracking is a plus
  • Knowledge of A/B and multivariate tests and testing tools is a plus
  • Innovative, flexible, and creative problem-solving skills with a strong ability to prioritize multiple projects;
  • Language: Business Japanese. Business English (Receive technical training in English and actively participate in meetings with global teams)
