Role Mission:

The Senior Manager, Asia FP&A – China & Japan, is the Finance business partner to the China & Japan businesses. This person will regularly collaborate with commercial and functional leaders, providing financial planning, KPI and commercial advice and support to track and drive each of these businesses. Reporting line and functional support through CFO, China/Japan/Korea.

 

Key Process Accountabilities

Key Activities

Commercial & strategic

-        Strategic business partner to the China & Japan business to meet business objectives. Partner and work with the China & Japan leaders in the development of their strategy

-        Provide thought leadership and strategic input in the ongoing development of business strategy aimed at maximizing top and bottom line business

-        Provide relevant business oriented financial support to address key business opportunities or challenges, leveraging the various drivers within the P&L, analysis on investments and recommendation on commercial contracts

-        Provide strategic financial advice to support the integration of acquisitions and new brands/products as they are defined and come to market

-         Manage and/or contribute to ad hoc projects, working with the Senior Director, Asia FP&A and/or Asia VP/CFO

-        Proactively manage financial relationships within the region

-        Provide high level representation of the country at regional and global meetings and conferences

Financial planning & analysis

 

-         Weekly performance, action tracking and reporting to drive delivery of financial targets

-         Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reporting

-         Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial planning

-        Drive and support accurate forecasting in conjunction with local commercial leaders and Asia FP&A

-         Work closely with the Asia FP&A team in Singapore, to enable consolidated reporting

-         Evaluate, monitor performance and report on assets used in running the business

-         Analyze and monitor expenditure for capital expenditure projects in accordance with policy

-         Produce presentations for management discussions

-         Drive process and reporting improvements

Governance & compliance

-        Provide leadership in the maintenance of financial compliance and control

-        Fully enforce Crocs policies and guidelines across all divisions and groups

-        Ensure that proper internal controls are in place and that measurement and tracking is systematically executed in this regard

People leadership & development

-         Lead, develop and manage the Analyst pool in Singapore

-         Coordinate the Asia Finance Business Partners on Asia project work

 

Deliverables and Indicators (KPIs)

-         Long range annual financial plan, Annual Operating Plan, quarterly Latest Estimates

-         Weekly Outlook

-         Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly financial reporting

-         Produce timely and accurate financial forecasts

-         Provide routine and ad hoc financial analysis and reports to the business

-         Provide routine and ad hoc financial analysis and reports to Corporate

 

Job Requirements:

Education

Professional Finance / Accounting qualification (e.g. MBA, CPA)

 

Experience

Extensive financial planning and analysis experience in MNCs, ideally with Consumer industry experience

Knowledge

Expert with Excel, advanced PowerPoint (including think-cell) and SAP proficiency (PowerBI, BPC)

Interpersonal Skill

Able to partner across functions, levels and cultures within a highly matrixed environment, to deliver business objectives as one team

Travel Requirement

Low - occasional overseas travel within working week
