We have an opening for the Country Manager role to be Copperleaf’s first employee in India, this is a strategic role with management and operational responsibilities as we build out the team.

You’ll be joining a growing team across Asia, Pacific & Japan who are passionate about delivering value to our clients. Your knowledge and guidance will be key in transforming the way our clients manage their infrastructure.

 

Location:

Your role will be based between your home, client sites and events in the region.

Your schedule and home location are flexible – balance your time to suit you!

 

Business fluency in both English and India official languages are essential for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Country Manager you will pioneering Copperleaf’s presence in India. Your role will include some of the following activities:

  • Evolving and executing the sales strategy with the Managing Director of Asia Pacific & Japan.
  • Building a team of Account Executives, Pre-sales Consultants and managing resources in the region.
  • Understanding the legal and operating environment in India.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities generating software licenses, support and services revenue. (Via direct or partnership)
  • Building and managing a continuous pipeline.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients and stakeholders at a senior executive level with key decision makers.
  • Continuously gathering knowledge of competitors and how to effectively position our solution.

 

Requirements:

  • Have a successful track record leading and managing a sales team, or related teams.
  • You have experience and are comfortable navigating complex organizations and selling to C level executives
  • You can position new business within the account by developing, communicating, and driving effective selling strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value proposition
  • You’re an enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem-solving skills
  • You have dynamic presentation skills, ability to articulate customer problems and challenges, and then link them to the value proposition
  • You have general familiarity with consultative selling training methodologies
  • Experience in asset intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector or Transportation is desirable.
  • Engineering or analytical bachelor’s degree
