Summary:

The bswift Senior Sales Executive will have the opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the benefits administration business. This role will work independently to create sales opportunities and earning potential while representing bswift to some of country's most respected benefit influencers.  You will be responsible for selling bswift enrollment technology and benefits administration products and services to prospective customers. This position focuses on bswift’s Channel Partner distribution, and entails soliciting primarily to insurance carriers prospects to license and distribute bswift to their client base. You will work with insurance companies with clientele that may span small, middle, large and retiree group market segments. You will prospect, build relationships, drive lead generation and close sales to meet established annual sales targets.

Job Details:

  • Represent bswift technology and benefits administration products and services to prospective insurance carrier distributors.
  • Cultivate productive and influential relationships with prospects, consultants/brokers, and peers
  • Establish prospect sales strategies and lead RFP responses
  • Lead internal team meeting preparation for external sales efforts, and all stages of prospect meetings
  • Develop and execute assigned vertical sales/growth strategy; proactively prospect in assigned area of focus
  • Establish a market presence in assigned area of focus by participating in select market forums, collaborating with peers, and cultivating market relationships
  • Negotiate initial sales contracts and letters of intent to execution
  • Manage complex negotiations and position products, rate levels, and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue
  • Identify various ways to partner with carrier prospects by drawing from entire spectrum of product line.
  • Gain understanding of prospect’s multifaceted needs and recommend appropriate benefits from bswift's full product array of enrollment technology and service capabilities
  • Maintain an active pipeline of insurance carrier prospects
  • Provide effective presentations to all external and internal constituents

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years sales, software or insurance industry experience
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience selling benefits administration, payroll or HCM products or insurance products to employers, brokers, insurers or other third-party benefit influencers.
  • Experience navigating complex selling situations involving senior level resources (executives, procurement, finance, IT and/or consulting firms)
  • Demonstrated ability to represent a product and company in a highly consultative manner
  • Public Speaking or executive presentation experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent relevant work experience.

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $150,000-$180,000, plus commission, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
