The Proactive Finance / Banking team is on a mission to provide personalized, transparent, and accessible financial service experiences.  We focus on expanding Blend's product footprint to everyday personal finance experiences such as checking/savings accounts and online banking portals.  We hope these touchpoints create a more delightful and cohesive relationship between financial institutions and their customers.

As an engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to build new services (credit, decision engine, cross sell) and lead the development of new products.  We are a team of fullstack and frontend engineers that work closely with product and design to deliver on new initiatives.  We are looking for strong engineers to join us to build delightful, impactful products and have fun in the process!

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience working on high-quality production software
  • Excellent data model, interface, architecture, and component design skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to help others succeed and be productive

Bonus Points!

  • Experience with TypeScript, React, Node
  • Experience with Postgres
