We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Junior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a curious and inquisitive nature, with a strong desire to learn and ask questions. They should demonstrate a proven track record in project management, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, and effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously. Reporting to the Lead Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines. This role demands a proactive mindset, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Tasks
- Lead the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful delivery.
- Collect and analyse business requirements to define project scope, timeline, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder
- expectations and project goals.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Anticipate risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, are well-documented, clearly formatted, and accessible to both internal and external teams.
- Leverage expertise to maintain high standards in project management practices and share knowledge within the PMO team to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- You have a degree in project management, business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced environment (Tech company, start-up or similar).
- Proven experience with key project management practices such as creating detailed project plans, drafting project charters, and developing RACI matrices.
- Experience managing projects end to end, with a strong preference for successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Clear, accurate and concise communicator with strict attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize own workload and adhere to deadlines.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuously learning and improving project management practices and the quality of work we deliver.
- Strong relationship building, with the ability to engage, negotiate, influence, and collaborate across the organization.
Proficiency with the MS Office suite and Asana is a plus. - Business fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) not required but is also an advantage.
