Our Business Technology team is looking for an End User Services Technician who is customer oriented, analytical, and has an interest in partnering with our software development organization on their infrastructure.
To be successful in this role, you need:
To assist with Windows, Linux and Macintosh desktop administration
To assist in the maintenance of Appian’s IT network and server infrastructure
To assist in the administration of Appian's voice networks
To provide capabilities to improve Appian’s productivity
To provide initial technical support to Appian’s global employees via IT Service Desk cases
To provide on-call resolution for mission critical issues and document solutions within the case management system
To enhance overall system security, performance and availability
To assist with the lifecycle of end user hardware and software inventory
To have competency in administering desktop operating systems
To have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
To have strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
To have an interest in cloud computing

B.S. in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Ability to work nights or weekends, as needed, to perform regular onsite maintenance or on call duties
