Appian is the leader in low-code automation. Appian provides thought leadership and guidance to enterprises and practitioners throughout their automation journey. This position will be responsible for collaborating with internal and third-party experts to build a curriculum, online content, and tools focused on low-code automation strategy. The Content Strategist will use data-driven insights and best practices to create engaging content that will attract qualified traffic.
Deadline driven, the right candidate will oversee content requirements and manage deliverables across the project life cycle. Our content strategist will also stay up to date on content format trends and changes for maximum effectiveness - multimedia, infographics, etc. They will be responsible for managing internal and external subject matter experts, maintaining a budget, and have the analytical abilities necessary to gather key business and user insights. Success for this role will include building and deploying an engaging online learning and knowledge platform.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or business
5+ years as a content strategist or similar position
Ability to curate and translate complex concepts into content that is clear and concise
Attention to detail; strong project management skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Firm understanding of user experience and strong search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) skills preferred
Firm understanding of analytics tools to understand content performance
