About the Role

We're looking for a Sales Manager in the UK to oversee and inspire a diverse global team of 8 Associate Account Executives, guiding them through feedback & development to raise the bar of our sales process and team performance. In this new role within our Strategic team, the successful candidate will need to have an affinity for coaching & customer value and deliver operational frameworks. You'll have the chance to shape the careers of your team and yourself as the organisation continues its rapid expansion, all while making a tangible impact on the growth of our Top 100 corporate and consultant clients in the EMEA region.


  • Lead, coach, manage, and mentor a passionate group of high-potential early career Account Executives (1-3 years of experience) to close deals averaging over $30K ARR
  • Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Sales and cross-functional teams (e.g. Pod Leaders, SDRs, Account Managers, Marketing) to strategise and execute weekly sales motions to generate pipeline and expand the AlphaSense value proposition
  • Implement new sales processes, playbooks, and practices to more proficiently land meetings,  boost conversion rates, and close business
  • Build a bench of skilled individuals to aid the growth of the team in the near future
  • Set a standard across professional development, sales execution, operational acumen, and performance

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a sales management role, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets across a number of industries and buyer personas
  • Experience in managing complex Enterprise technology sales cycles (added benefit selling SaaS) and pride in constantly measuring, improving, and scaling sales processes to achieve great results
  • Solid ability to coach sales techniques and methodologies
  • Excellent collaboration skills and experience working across cross-functional teams
  • Bring a deep affinity for delivering feedback and supporting sales professionals in their career growth
  • Ideally skilled in selling to research professionals and/or within the Corporate market. (Not a must have)
  • Ideally experience working in a fast-scaling SaaS environment (Not a must have)
