The Role:

The Analyst will be part of a newly formed team within Broker Operations. As an analyst, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate onboarding of new brokers, as well as the ongoing support of existing contributors. You will work with a team of product managers and operations analysts to deliver the best-in-class research product offering to AlphaSense’s clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and have prior content onboarding and support experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding: Coordinate and assist in the onboarding of new research
    • Ensuring that each integration is delivered on time and within the requirements
  • Maintenance: Validate and maintain the accuracy of research received from various sources
    • Ensuring that data is correct, consistent, and available in a timely manner
    • Regularly reviewing content from existing sources for completeness
  • Support: As a subject matter expert, you will also be responsible for investigating and/or addressing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
    • Addressing operational issues raised by brokers and/or other third parties
    • Monitoring alerts for processing delays and escalating them to the appropriate teams
  • Functional Improvements: Collaborate with the PMs to identify sources of improvement
    • Streamlining processes and recommending enhancements to tools and workflows
  • Documentation: Create, update, and document operational processes (SOPs)

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of financial data entry, aggregation, or operations experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (with strong academic record)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to identify improvements in processes and workflows
  • Must be comfortable in a challenging & growing environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to execute tasks and take complex projects through completion
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and Google Suite

Strong Plus:

  • Experience working with sell-side / investment research
  • Experience with metadata tagging
