Job Description

The Director of Sales Operations will be Alma’s first internal hire focused on building and maintaining Salesforce and systems that optimizes the Sales & Marketing workflow. As a data-driven & growth-oriented startup, this role is key to building complex reporting and analysis involved in sales forecasting and planning for the future. Reporting to the VP of Growth, the Director of Sales Operations will be a strategic partner across the entire business.

You Will: 

  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment 
  • Handle all administration functions related to the system including data cleanses, deduping, reports and dashboards 
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds from lead gen provider
  • Assign leads to BDR team 
  • Maintain current integrations to include Zapier, Salesloft, Marketo, Mailchimp, Chili Piper & Drift 
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Partner with VP of Growth to develop KPIs to measure and evaluate sales productivity to determine the effectiveness of the process and various campaigns 
  • Partner with the Leadership team to ensure reporting serves strategic goals of the business
  • Coordinate data integrations to company reporting tools including Looker 
  • Further build the Alma Salesforce Playbook to document all current processes and workflows 
  • Run point on the training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

Your "Must Have" Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience  
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator; with experience working in Person Accounts 
  • Salesforce.com Admin certified 
  • Proven track record building/informing automations, deduping and cleansing data 
  • Experience with integrating any MAPs (Marketo strongly preferred) 
  • Experience in developing, implementing and documenting initiatives that drive alignment between sales and marketing activities, including: sales enablement, lead/MQL routing and SLAs, and data quality/hygiene 
  • Experience building automations in Zapier 
  • Excellent collaborator who will serve as a strategic partner to Sales & Marketing Operations to increase efficiencies and maintain tech stacks
  • Analytical individual who can translate numbers into actionable deliverables and presentations 
  • Self-starter passionate about Alma’s mission

Your "Plus" Qualifications: 

  • Experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce 
  • Experience working with Looker
