Vixxo is seeking a full-time Construction Project Coordinator to be based in our, Dallas, TX office ( Hybrid - In Office Tue, Wed, Thur).

THE ROLE

The Project Coordinator works closely with the Director of Construction and Senior Project Manager to ensure the team delivers upon the objectives set for that customer group. The Coordinator is responsible for the daily data management of location projects, schedules, equipment schedules, data integrity and all other data attributes associated with these actions.

TOP 3 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Document management including preparation of project-related correspondence, distribution and tracking of project related technical materials, process technical product and shop drawings and submit electronically 
  •  Vendor Management support including producing purchase orders, vendor follow up, process and track invoices, and update project schedules 
  • Maintain all project logs utilizing Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, or Smartsheet, assist in tracking and review of change orders. Updating contract documents during construction. Manage and track lien waivers. Produce closeout manuals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of comprehensive construction project experience 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Smart Sheets and Excel (including ability to filter data, create formulas, manipulating and using tables).
  • Sense of urgency – able to operate in fast-paced, changing environment while moving multiple priorities forward
  • High level of professionalism (ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral skills. And create a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork with both internal and external customers.)
