About the Role: Salesforce Developer, India

We are seeking a strong Salesforce developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.  The developer will work closely with business analysts, solution architects and stakeholders to build and deliver salesforce solutions to improve business efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and implement workflows, flows, and custom objects to automate business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers and junior team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and platform bugs.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment and post-release support.
  • Work on integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve existing solutions and processes.
  • Create/modify experience cloud portals.

Skills needed:

  • At least 3 years of APEX experience and working as a Salesforce Developer
  • Salesforce Admin certified
  • Proficiency with Salesforce standard and custom objects: data architecture experience.
  • Detailed oriented and process driven.
  • High proficiency with Salesforce flows and other automations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, being able to track down information or ask the right people when not all information is present
  • Ability to multi-task and switch gears in high volume and fast paced environment
  • Ability to respond and react to internal and external customers in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with SDLC; from planning to deployment.​
  • Consistently seeks opportunities to add value without being prompted.​
  • Able to provide estimates to solutions.
  • Familiar using JIRA
  • Proficiency in DevOps – Gearset, SF DX, other.
  • Experience with integrations such as REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party systems.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

Preferred skills:

  • Proficiency with git (Bitbucket, GitHub)
  • Familiar with key Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced, complex high-tech environment.
  • Anticipates challenges and takes steps to address them before they become issues.​
  • Shows initiative in learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies.​
  • Actively looks for opportunities to improve processes and workflows.​
  • Experience building advanced Salesforce solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
  • Salesforce CPQ certified
  • JavaScript 
  • Salesforce DX 
  • Experience with Salesforce communities / experience cloud and external applications 
  • Demonstrable experience in enterprise software/SaaS or high-tech
