Warehouse Associate

The role:

We are seeking a skilled, hands-on and dedicated Warehouse & Inventory Associate to join our Vay team in Las Vegas (NV). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing  our warehouse in Las Vegas, including the inbound and outbound flow of materials, the availability of stock and update of the company systems, the inspection of materials according to quality and operational requirements, as well as the upkeep and layout of the warehouse itself.

The responsibilities:

• Manage stock and perform regular inventory checks
• Execute inbound movements and outbound shipments of goods worldwide, potentially taking care of customs topics
• Perform incoming inspections on received goods and manage claims and returns to suppliers in case of issues
• Execute spot buying for goods and services requested on-demand
• Prepare carts for production bring-ups 
• Monitor stock levels and forecast upcoming levels of demand, maintaining an appropriate safety stock of parts
• Planning, setup and execution of new warehouses and production feed processes in new overseas locations

The profile:

• 2+ Years of professional experience in a hands-on inbound and outbound warehousing role
• Proven skills in inventory monitoring and proficiency in using a warehouse management (WMS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
• Precision and attention to details, especially when dealing with inventory management and order fulfilment
• Effective communication and collaboration, as the ability to work well in a team
• Go-getter, positive attitude and experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Creative, energetic and enthusiastic about contributing to the team
• Happy to travel internationally on occasion

Nice to have:

• A background from a engineering or industrial environment, preferably Automotive
• Experience in incoming inspections/quality controls, quantity planning
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (Odoo would be ideal)
