The opportunity 

As our People Experience Business Partner, you will support, advise, and develop our leads and their teams within Finance, Legal, Marketing and Customer Experience  with a focus on customer outcomes and resolutions.You will act as their trusted partner in people topics. Your responsibilities 

  • You build trusted relationships with employees, stakeholders and leaders at Urban Sports Club HQ and among the local markets
  • In close exchange with the department leads you identify their current challenges and position yourself as a strong sparring partner and problem solver
  • You organize and facilitate workshops for local stakeholders on any relevant/ required topics (from leadership to teaming to labor law, new process implementation, etc.)
  • You will continuously develop the company-wide management and employee development programs
  • You will be able to work on projects, new tool implementations and proactive process improvements
  • You train, coach, and advise department leads in developing their leadership skills
  • You will be spearheading different people related projects such as DEI 

What you need to succeed 

  • You have gained at least 4 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar position
  • You have experience in an operational HR environment
  • You are experienced in the conception and operational implementation of strategic HR topics
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English (C1 or higher) and a strong focus on facilitating communication between stakeholders across all levels of an organization
  • You are knowledgeable in providing guidance in regard to compensation strategy, salary planning, promotions, and job re-leveling
  • You bring solid knowledge in German labor law and ideally in payroll topics
  • You ideally worked on DEI topics in past employments
