Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Front End Developer to work on multi-domain platforms serving critical national security functions using cutting-edge modern frameworks. Join our team to solve hard problems in large-scale data investigation and analysis, real-time collaboration, task and resource planning and coordination, and high-dimensional data summarization and visualization allowing lay persons to easily answer complex questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement new front end UI/UX features in a modern web framework such as Vue or React with an eye towards responsive design, cross-browser and -platform compatibility, performance, and modularity
  • Work alongside designers in thinking creatively about end users’ problems and how to solve them 
  • Follow provided UI/UX designs/mockups but also be comfortable suggesting improvements and designing/implementing detailed controls and handling of edge cases and error states given a broad intent
  • Debug issues and help perform end-to-end testing to discover new ones
  • Be comfortable designing and developing full sections of functionality given a broad requirement, including identifying and handling of edge cases and error states
  • Help break down large, complex customer requests into actionable tasks for a team of developers
  • Help define architectural requirements for meeting customer needs

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years practical experience in software engineering
  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and modern web frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and/or Angular.
  • A self-driven work ethic and a willingness to jump in and solve hard problems
  • Due to security requirement, you must be US Citizen with willingness and the ability to obtain and maintain required clearance up to TS/SCI and a Polygraph too

 

Nice If you Have:

  • Experience using Git and Jira in a development workflow
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience managing a team of developers
  • Experience mentoring other developers
  • Experience with WebGL and web visualization frameworks such as D3
  • Experience creating features allowing for simultaneous editing of content
  • Experience creating large-scale, real-time data visualizations
  • Familiarity with SQL and databases in general
  • Experience with Vue 3 and Vite
  • Experience with Ember.js
  • Experience with DevSecOps

 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Eligibility for Security clearance up to TS/SCI and poly too.
