Trusted Concepts, a division of Two Six Technologies is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with experience in implementing AWS cloud systems in CI/CD environments. This role will be working with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Mission Capabilities and Systems, where you will be developing highly available, cost-efficient solutions focusing on DevSecOps pipelines and microservice architecture in Kubernetes framework environments. The role will also involve building CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps tools while being a hands-on leader that can advise/guide decision makers and teams on how to implement automation tools for adhering to architectural best practices. In addition, this role will provide the customer with analysis, recommendations and/or prototypes specific to open and well architected cloud systems, software modernization, API development, system automation, and SIGINT mission integration and evaluation.

Day In & Day Out Duties: 

  • Provides customer with analysis, recommendations and/or prototypes specific to open and well architected cloud systems, software modernization, API development, system automation, and SIGINT mission integration and evaluation by:
    • Design, develop, automate software for new, migrated and re-hosted cloud enabled mission capabilities using CI/CD Pipeline deployed on cloud & kubernetes
    • Architect and coordinate efforts to modernize and consolidate legacy system components into a more efficient cloud solution; Optimized Kubernetes deployments to reduce costs and meet system maintenance requirements.
    • Manage integration of common software, services, APIs, and applications
    • Maximize automation, improve O&M effectiveness
    • Evaluate and make architectural recommendations based on latency requirements, computational resources, storage, etc.
    • Understand and recommend best practices for automatic failover, system recovery and replication challenges
    • Evaluate system tuning, and implement optimal system configuration.
    • Build secure systems that can obtain ATO, inlcuding knowledge of the RMF process and how to achieve controls
    • Recommend and implement system monitoring tools

Keys for Success:

●    Proven experience as a Sr. Cloud Engineering Lead, or a hands-on Cloud Architect implementing well-architected cloud systems, preferably at an Enterprise level
●    Led a team to build new, migrated or re-hosted cloud enabled mission capabilities or experience optimizing an existing system in the cloud (AWS or Azure)
●    Ability to produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and Sr. level clients 
●    5+ years of Cloud implementation experience (AWS Lambda)
●    5+ years of enterprise cloud architecture experience (specifically within complex automation systems)
●    5+ years of CI/CD experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
●    Security + within six months of hire 

Bonus Points: 

●    Current Certificate: AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect - Associate or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer or Solutions Architect
●    Knowledge and expertise applying principles of ICD-503/Risk Management Framework and achieving and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO)
●    Experience with cloud based networking infrastructure products, Authentication and Authorization (A&A), Role Based Access Controls (RBAC), use of network change requests and firewall change requests to achieve system to system network connectivity via non-person entities
