We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for our Chantilly or Herndon VA locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivery of customer-focused projects. The individual will work closely with other our current dedicated team of software engineers and developers to assess requirements, coordinate resources, and deliver projects for the customer. You will apply your expertise in the project management processes to support the program’s development, integration, and operation. This program is service based offering support to numerous partner applications across multiple networks.
You must have strong written and verbal individual and organizational communication skills and the ability to articulate technical project requirements to both customers and internal teams.
Requirements:
Demonstrated on-the-job experience in project management fundamentals using approved tools and techniques in the execution of IT activities, to include scheduling, execution, and monitoring/controlling
Provide on-the-job experience effectively communicating across programs and with customers, stakeholders, and other contractors
Demonstrated experience sharing knowledge and learning from others to ensure the team’s success
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates development of deliverables and products
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project tasks
Team planning and organization to include sprint planning and closeout.
Customer engagements with both existing customers and new partner systems.
Government engagement on status, estimates, issue communication and progress.
Issue tracking and coordination to include upgrade coordination and documentation
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working within a technical environment handling either multiple software development projects
Experience in creating and successfully implementing strategy for customer organizations
Able to become involved in technical troubleshooting and support tasks.
