Twilio is looking for a Technical Lead to join us and build the future of our internal developer platform as part of our Platform Engineering team in North America. We’re busy building our next-generation platform experience at Twilio, based on Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and AWS. 

You’ll lead the Launchpad team, which develops the services and tools to expand and secure the foundation of our platform; vending clouds, networks, clusters and infrastructure to our internal R&D community.

Who?

  • You are a software engineering leader that is passionate, empathetic and focused on team success. 
  • You are able to develop a strong technical and architectural vision, and have a demonstrated ability to communicate, advocate, and execute that vision. 
  • You have demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers, and teaching proven practices that help teams grow. 
  • You have ownership experience in a large-scale, enterprise environment, leading teams which build and operate mission-critical PaaS or SaaS products. 
  • You have experience developing, debugging and scaling distributed systems in Go or Java on Linux, and experience configuring infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation. 
  • You have a Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $132,928.00 - $182,776.00

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $116,312.00 - $159,929.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
