Because you belong at Twilio
The Who, What, Why and Where
Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking an Instructional Designer (Contractor) with a contemporary approach to learning and development. As part of the Talent Management team, this role will enable us to build out an ecosystem of manager enablement solutions that develop and support stronger managers across the company.
We are looking for a resourceful, creative, and intellectually curious learning experience designer to join us in building and scaling our product learning programs. This is an exciting opportunity to jump right in and be an integral part of a team focused on inspiring the trajectory of our customers success journey. You will design, build, enhance, and maintain our core product learning programs on a global scale. Your design toolbox includes instruction-led classroom (ILT), immersive, and digital learning methods focused on delivering real performance outcomes.
You can translate your experiences into a variety of delivery types: in-person, video, mobile, self-paced, virtual and podcast. And you’re already anticipating the next delivery channel that isn’t even on the radar yet.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, building learning products over a few months. You’re as comfortable working independently - researching and writing - as you are brainstorming with a team or managing a new video series.
As an Instructional Designer (Contractor), you will:
- Create an interactive, instructor-led Manager 101 series
- Create and implement a manager ecosystem of resources, assets/one-pagers, videos, podcasts, and processes via a manager portal/microsite
- Drive ecosystems engagement via a marketing-style campaign strategy; including design and layout, follow up from manager workshops, QC of learning content, and coordination across HR COEs
- Support the re-design and documentation for existing instructor-led programs (i.e., facilitator guides, hand-outs, one-pagers, etc.)
- Draft communications tied to learning experiences as needed
The Talent Management team is central to Twilio's continued growth. We work closely with executives, HR leaders, and the HR COES to craft and implement an enterprise-wide talent strategy. This year, building stronger managers is one of our top priorities.
