Job Overview

The Standard and Verification Manager is responsible for overseeing the auditing of test processes and data to ensure that mission direction and test parameters are being followed. This position is also responsible for determining what issues are causing problems during missions via root cause analysis and offering alternative solutions to the necessary workflows. This position also works in collaboration with PMs, Algorithm and the Test Operations teams to ensure that workflows, processes and training are effective; correcting as necessary to
improve efficiency of testing.

Opportunity Responsibilities and Mission

  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, monitoring performance, scheduling, payroll and workloads of all direct reports.
  • Assess and evaluate current processes and tools, highlighting bottlenecks and finding alternatives to aid in bolstering efficiency
  • Oversees truck verification process, ensuring that Production Services and other stakeholders are informed of any issues needing repair/calibration.
  • Ensures alignment of test parameters with standard operating procedures and real life conditions to ensure missions are viable and executable.
  • Reports on executions of missions and feedback provided by
  • Testing Personnel, incorporating feedback from all stakeholders to improve processes and general execution of missions.
  • Manage mission methodologies, best practices, processes and tools; proactively identify and manage risks and issues pertaining to missions.
  • Coordinates all resources necessary to perform demos including vehicles, on-truck personnel, route, volume and post-Mission feedback & execution.

Experience and Skills required :

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing, QA or similar role
  • 3-4 years of experience in test automation and framework design
  • Practical coding experience with industry standard tools.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and workflows;
  • Strong expertise in test planning and test case design methodologies;
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle processes and development methodologies;
  • Knowledge of the QA testing principles and strategies;
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL
  • Manual testing, developing test plans and test case writing skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, work closely with business, testing and development teams;
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills; and
  • Exceptional time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills: verbal, written, listening and group facilitation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, close attention to detail and advanced skills supported by a strong experience using MS Office applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint, for presentation, organization and analysis.
