Opportunity Overview: 

We’re looking for a Sr. Compensation and ESOP Analyst not only with a passion for people, but also with an attention to detail and penchant for reporting. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Uses a wide range of data sets to design competitive compensation packages 
  • Develops competitive stock option packages and refresh plans
  • Runs regular analysis on internal compensation to ensure competitiveness and equity
  • Researchers industry trends regarding compensation and benefits
  • Managers the ESOP and acts as point of contact for employee questions
  • Partners with managers to build and update accurate job descriptions 
  • Uses job analysis to determine exemption status of positions 
  • Builds and maintains key human resources reports and dashboards
  • Assists in and conducts a wide range of audits
  • Assists in managing our benefits plans
  • Helps manage our workers’ compensation plan
  • Co-owns our HR information systems
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a full-time analyst role
  • At least 1-2 years solid experience administering an ESOP (employee stock ownership plan)
  • In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Solid experience working with compensation market data
  • Extensive knowledge of labor law as it pertains to compensation and benefits
  • Degree in Human Resources, mathematics, statistics, or similar discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or advanced training in compensation, benefits, business intelligence or similar
  • Experience in a tech start-up 
  • Experience building compensation profiles for unique positions
  • Experience working with workers’ compensation plans
