Job Summary: 

This position is responsible for supporting calibration operation and test operation using calibration applications (include but are not limited to calibration programs and quality assurance tools), assisting engineering teams for deployment and troubleshooting, and developing processes. The role requires interfacing with operations and engineers. 

Because Application Engineers operate at the intersection of the engineering, operations and manufacturing teams, they must possess strong communication abilities, excellent reasoning skills and the capacity to facilitate teamwork across departments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting/supporting engineers in integration and deployment of software packages
  • Owning process design, execution, monitoring and maintenance
  • Showing leadership for this role: supportive, innovative, energetic and experienced in calibration technology and process. The culture of the team is innovative and relentless.

Required Skills:

  • At least four years of experience working with sensors and calibration in robotics fields
  • Familiar with application development, testing and deployment process
  • Experience in industrial process design, execution, monitoring and maintenance
  • Able to take initiative, leadership and responsibility

Preferred:

  • Master degree in engineering or related field
  • Experience of project management and product management
  • Experience with manufacturing
