As UXD Manager, you will lead a team of Designers driving the user experience strategy for a set of products focused on search, trip building and the booking flow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces, combined with strong leadership skills to mentor and inspire a team of designers. You will report to the Director of User Experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership: Collaborate on the development and implementation of UX strategies and principles that align with Triparc's business goals and user needs.
  • Team management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Design leadership
    • Manage the design process, ensuring that decisions are made based on insights from user research, comparative analysis, and usability testing, and are in line with business goals and priorities.
    • Guide the team through design refinements to deliver a high-quality user-centric experience for TripArc’s users, while managing the balance between hands-on work and guidance. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to create cohesive and user-centric solutions. Introduce process improvements to facilitate design iteration. 
  • Communication: Provide feedback early and often on deliverables. 

Qualifications:

  • Online portfolio
  • 5+ years in UX design
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience working with remote and in-office teams
  • Experience presenting to leadership
  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in User Experience or a related field (human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, sociology etc.)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment  
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations
  • Experience working with a Design System
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations.
  • Curiosity, continuous learning and an open-minded attitude with a growth mindset
