Trip Arc’s UX team is looking for an experienced designer to work as a strategic partner on key initiatives. Our multi-functional UX team is focused on requirements, client insights and product design to support ongoing feature releases across multiple proprietary technology platforms, with the goal of driving sales performance and revenue growth. Our UX team acts as the voice of hundreds of Destination Experts and Travel Advisors who use our technology products to manage the business of travel, from itinerary building to quote and booking management. You will also be working on our client-facing assets, including websites and mobile apps. Your work will involve solving interesting and complex user flow and interface challenges, creating wireframes, prototypes and/or visual designs and overseeing the visual interface for the web-based products or applications.

Job Summary As the Senior UX Designer, you’ll take on complex challenges and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs suited as much for the first-time user as the sophisticated expert. You’ll work closely with other Designers, as well as Engineers and Product teams throughout the design process - from creating early concepts and user flows to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you’ll anticipate users’ needs and goals, advocate for them and, through close collaboration with the implementation team, ensure that the final product is delightful to use.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Understand business goals 
  • Conduct research and usability testing
  • Create wireframes, functional specs, high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes of various complexity
  • Review and act on client feedback and usage tracking reports
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders
  • Attend and facilitate review meetings and demos
  • Provide weekly status reports on projects and proactively raise any issues or concerns as they arise

Qualifications

  • Online portfolio
  • 5+ years in UX design ·
  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in User Experience or a related field (human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, sociology etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of prototyping tools · Ability to lead projects from conception through to completion
  • Ability to work well with others across the business · Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations.
  • Curiosity, continuous learning and an open-minded attitude
