About This Job

Join us as a Senior Software Engineer for our Point of Sale product! You'll play a pivotal role in advancing our core functionalities, creating an improved user experience, enhancing application performance, and collaborating with our Ecommerce and Payments engineering teams to create seamless integrations. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the quality and scalability of our products. What You'll Do...

  • Contribute to core applications in .NET, TypeScript, MS SQL and React within high-scale, distributed systems
  • Work closely with our Product team in scoping and refining customer-facing features
  • Mentor and coach other engineers
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and estimate work
  • Positively contribute to our culture and our processes

What You Bring...

  • Required experience with .NET/C#, relational and non-relational databases, and working in distributed systems
  • Deep understanding of backend server languages (Ruby/Node/Python/C#/etc.) and general software best practices
  • You have experience designing and extending scalable data models and the data stores they depend on
  • You take pride in the code you write - it's clean, tested, organized, and elegant
  • Self-starter - you're proactive and are able to start projects and tasks without constant direction
  • Quick learner - you pick up new frameworks and technologies quickly
  • Great communication skills
  • You want to work in a flexible environment - we move quickly and ship code often
  • 8+ years of development experience

It's a bonus if you...

  • Have experience with Point of Sale (POS) technology
  • Have built software in the cannabis space
  • Have experience building and monitoring infrastructure on cloud-native hosting providers (AWS)
  • Have deep experience with third-party integrations

You’ll Get…

We are targeting a starting salary of $165,000 based on the intended level for this role. There may be flexibility on individual compensation packages based candidate skill set, experience, qualifications and other position-related factors.
